Formula and method
Sessions = floor(hours/session length); allocate integer sessions proportional to weights using largest remainders.
Worked example
12 hours in 1-hour sessions with weights 2,1,1 allocates 6,3,3 sessions.
Assumptions and supported scope
1–30 topics, ≤1000 hours, ≤365 days. Dates are evenly spread; no calendar conflicts, retention model, or score prediction.
