Formula and method
Attendance = attended/held. Needed among remaining = ceil(threshold × (held+remaining) − attended).
Worked example
18 of 20 attended is 90%; with 10 remaining and an 80% rule, 6 more attended sessions are required.
Assumptions and supported scope
Whole session counts only. Institutional absence rules, excused absences and session weighting are not modeled.
